وی بیان کرد: گروه‌های بهداشتی در حال پیگیری موارد تماس و افراد نزدیک با این بیمار هستند تا از همه آن‌ها تست گرفته شده و این افراد را مورد معاینه و رهگیری قرار گیرند.
وی با اشاره به قدرت انتشار سریع این ویروس و همه‌گیری بیشتر آن و شلوغی خیابان‌ها در روزهای پایانی سال از مردم خواست از شرکت در اجتماعات، بازار و دورهمی‌های غیر ضروری به ویژه مراسم چهارشنبه آخر سال خودداری کنند.
