به گزارش مردم گلستان، اسحاق جهانگیری صبح شنبه در بدو ورود به گلستان اظهارکرد: گلستان از هر نظر ظرفیت‌های مناسبی برای توسعه و پیشرفت دارد.

معاون اول رئیس جمهور افزود: از نظر نیروی انسانی ظرفیتی بالا داشته که قادر است منابع طبیعی استان و کشور را به حرکت در بیاورند.

جهانگیری بیان کرد: از نظر اقلیمی شرایط استان مناسب است، دریا، جنگل، بیابان و غیره که می‌تواند در توسعه استان مؤثر باشد.

وی ادامه داد: از نظر امکانات گردشگری استان شرایط مساعدی داشته و طبیعت زیبایی دارد که مردم از سراسر ایران تمایل دارند از این نقطه بازدید کنند.

معاون اول رئیس جمهور به ظرفیت کشاورزی استان گلستان اشاره کرد و گفت: در ابتدای دولت تصمیم گرفتیم که ۲۸۰ هزار هکتار از اراضی دشت زهکشی شود که ۸۰ هزار هکتار انجام شده و ۹۰ هزار هکتار در دست اجرا است.

معاون اول رئیس جمهور افزود: امیدواریم این طرح به عنوان یک طرح بزرگ کشاورزی که بعد از خوزستان در گلستان انجام شده سریع‌تر به سرانجام برسد.

جهانگیری گفت: استان استعداد تجاری و مرزی بالایی داشته و با کشور دوست و همسایه ترکمنستان در ارتباط هستیم که باید روابط توسعه یابد.

وی بیان کرد: در ابتدای دولت تصویب کردیم منطقه اینچه برون به منطقه آزاد تبدیل شود؛ لایحه آماده و به مجلس ارسال و بعد از تصویب به مجمع تشخیص مصلحت نظام ارجاع شده که امیدواریم سیاستی که دولت پیش گرفته در آنجا نهایی شود.

طبق گفته جهانگیری منطقه آزاد اینچه برون می‌تواند قطب بزرگ توسعه استان باشد.

معاون اول رئیس جمهور به مسیر ریلی بین ایران و ترکمنستان قزاقستان اشاره کرد و گفت: می‌توان با توسعه راه آهن ارتباط با چین و غرب هم برقرار شود.

وی گفت: در بخش صنعت گلستان استعداد خوبی داشته و امروز هم موانع طرح‌های بزرگ را بررسی خواهیم کرد تا در دولت بعدی با سرعت پیش برود.

جهانگیری همچنین به معضل بزرگ خشکی خلیج گرگان اشاره کرد و گفت: برنامه هفت ساله برای احیا این تالاب در نظر گرفته شده است که امروز مشکلات آن بررسی خواهد شد.
