به گزارش مردم گلستان، پس از گذشت چند روز و تلاش های مستمر کادر درمان برای بازگشت عماد شاملو، دانش آموز مینودشتی، دقایقی قبل پزشکان بیمارستان شهید مطهری گنبد، خبر پایان درمان ناموفق این دانش آموز را اعلام کردند.
عماد شاملو دانش آموز مینودشتی بر اثر سقوط درخت در اردوی دانش آموزان دبستانی در تفرجگاه باقرآباد از ناحیه سر آسیب دیده بود که علیرغم تلاش کادر پزشکی، به علت شدت ضربه و آسیب دیدگی دچار مرگ مغزی و فوت گردید.
