وزیر علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری با صدور حکمی دکتر علیرضا خواجه شاهکویی را به عنوان سرپرست دانشگاه گلستان منصوب کرد.
پس از گذشت حدود پنج ماه از استقرار دولت سیزدهم‌و تغییر رویکردهای علمی و فرهنگی در کشور با محوریت توجه به نخبگان‌متعهد و انقلابی بالاخره نخستین تغییر در راس مدیریت دانشگاههای استان گلستان رخ داد و در گام اول دانشگاه گلستان رئیس جدید خود را شناخت.
وزیر علوم‌امروز طی حکمی علیرضا خواجه شاهکویی را به عنوان سرپرست جدید دانشگاه گلستان منصوب کرد.
دکتر زلفی‌گل در این حکم خطاب به سرپرست دانشگاه گلستان آورده است: انتظار می‌رود با پیروی از آموزه‌های اسلامی، مبانی علمی، روحیۀ انقلابی، راهبردهای اساسی دولت مردمی و برنامه‌های ارائه شده به مجلس شورای اسلامی و جلب همکاری استادان، مدیران و یاوران علمی (کارکنان)، تمامی امکانات مادی و معنوی دانشگاه را جهت تحقق سیاست‌ها و برنامه‌های اسناد بالادستی، مرجعیت و دیپلماسی علمی، توسعه همه جانبه علم و فناوری، آموزش پژوهش‌محور، پژوهش آموزش‌محور، مهارت‌افزایی، کارآفرینی، فرهنگ‌سازی کارتیمی و گروهی و در نهایت اجرای تمامی محورهای سند «دانشگاه اسلامی» به کار گیرید.
