رییس هیات شطرنج گلستان گفت: این استان از روز شنبه به مدت ۶ روز میزبان رقابتهای قهرمانی شطرنج کشور انتخابی تیم ملی است.
مریم توانا روز پنجشنبه در گفت و گویی اظهارداشت: این رقابتها در رده سنی زیر ۱۲ سال در قسمت پسران به صورت سوئیسی در ۹ دور در سالن امام خمینی (ره) مجموعه ورزشی آزادی گرگان انجام میشود.
وی با یادآوری این که برای حضور در این رقابتها به هر استان یک سهمیه اختصاص داده شد، بیان کرد: بقیه شرکت کنندگان میتوانند به صورت آزاد در این رقابتها حضور داشته باشند.
وی خاطرنشان کرد: تاکنون ۴۰ نفر در این رقابتها نام نویسی کردند که پیش بینی میشود، تعداد شرکت کنندگان تا پیش از شروع رقابتها به ۹۰ نفر برسد.
رییس هیات شطرنج گلستان با اشاره به اعلام حضور ۱۰ شطرنجباز گلستانی در این رقابت ها، گفت: تا ۴۸ ساعت آینده تعداد این نفرات افزایش خواهد یافت.
به گفته توانانفرات برتر این دوره از رقابتها به اردوی تیم ملی دعوت خواهند شد.
وی اضافه کرد: پیش از شروع کرونا شطرنج در هشت شهرستان استان فعال بود که کرونا سبب تعطیلی فعالیت شهرستانها شد و به تازگی ۲ شهرستان دیگر هم فعالیت خود را آغاز کردند که امید داریم فعالیت هشت شهرستان قبلی به حالت عادی باز گردد.
وی یادآور شد: اکنون در سامانه جامع شطرنج کشور، ۷۰۰ گلستانی عضویت دارند اما در مجموع ۳۰۰ شطرنجباز در استان فعال هستند.
رییس هیات شطرنج گلستان تصریح کرد: همزمان با رقابتهای شطرنج قهرمانی کشور پسران رده سنی زیر ۱۲ سال، ۱۱ رده سنی دختران و پسران در سایر نقاط کشور برگزار خواهد شد.
پرهام مقصودلو، استاد بزرگ بینالمللی شطرنج کشور، اهل گلستان و ساکن گرگان بوده که از رده سنی نوجوانان، به عنوان یک پدیده شطرنج معرفی شد.
