به گزارش مردم گلستان؛ قاسمعلی برزمینی در نخستین شورای عالی ورزش استان گلستان که با حضور سید علی مهاجر معاون سیاسی و امنیتی استاندار گلستان و مدیران دستگاه های عضو این شورا برگزار شد اظهار کرد: جلسه شورای عالی ورزش برای نخستین بار است که در گلستان برگزار می شود.
وی افزود: در استان گلستان ۴۸ هیئت ورزشی و ۵۰ هزار ورزشکار سازمان یافته فعالیت می کنند.
وی افزود: طی یک ماه گذشته ۱۸ ورزشکار گلستانی در جایگاه های اول تا سوم آسیا قرار گرفتند.
برزمینی گفت: ۳۶ تیم گلستانی در دو بخش آقایان و بانوان در لیگ برتر حضور دارند و همچنین ۱۷ تیم در دسته یک و ۱۲ تیم در دسته دو و سه حضور دارند.

مدیر کل ورزش و جوانان گلستان ادامه داد: استان گلستان در یکسال اخیر ۳۰۶ قهرمان ملی داشته و ۲۶۹ مدال ملی توسط ورزشکاران این استان کسب شد.
وی بیان داشت: قهرمانان این استان ۴ طلا، دو نقره و ۵ برنز فراملی و جهانی کسب کردند.

مدیر کل ورزش و جوانان گلستان گفت: طی مدت مذکور ۲۷۴ ورزشکار به مسابقات ملی و ۶۴ ورزشکار به مسابقات فراملی اعزام شدند و در استان گلستان ۱۳۱ مسابقه کشوری و لیگ برگزار شد.
وی یادآور شد: ۲۰۷ نفر به تیم ملی دعوت و در حال حاضر ۱۵۱ ورزشکار در تیم های ملی رشته های مختلف حضور دارند.
وی بیان داشت: با توجه به حضور تیم های ورزشی رشته های مختلف در لیگ برتر و دسته یک تا سه و همچنین با توجه به مقام آور بودن اکثر رشته ها، اما متاسفانه استان گلستان از حمایت صنایع محروم است و در اعزام تیم ها دارای مشکلات زیادی هستیم.

وی تاکید کرد: به جرئت می توانم بگویم ورزش قهرمانی گلستان جزو ۶ استان برتر کشور است.

برزمینی گفت: در حوزه زیر ساخت ها ۱۱۰ پروژه نیمه تمام ورزشی در سطح استان داریم که تلاش داریم تا پایان سال ۲۰ پروژه را به اتمام برسانیم.
